Way Up in the Sky - Clouds


What are clouds? How are they formed? Why are there so many different kinds? In fourth-grade students learn how to identify different kinds of clouds. This presentation will help students to distinguish between the major types of clouds. Students will know what they look like, where they are found in the sky, and what kind of weather they are associated with.

Standards Addressed
This project fulfills the Fourth-Grade Science Standard 2, Objective 1a requirement which states that students will be able to "Identify basic cloud types".

Standard 5: Use technology tools (e.g. multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners, etc.) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom).
