The Water Cycle - Info Graphic

Water - It covers 70% of the Earth's surface. It provides life, regulates temperature, drains harmful substances, manipulates weather, changes the geography of Earth's surface, and is home to thousands of organisms. Water needs to be replenished, purified, and circulated again and again so that it can perform its functions. It can do this through a natural process called the water cycle.

Students in Fourth-Grade learn about the water cycle, and its three major steps. This info graphic illustrates the three major steps of the water cycle, and provides a brief description of each. It helps students to visualize the process of the water cycle, and understand how it works.

Standards Addressed:
4th-Grade Science Standard 1: "Students will understand that water changes state as it moves through the water cycle."

Ed. Tech. Standards:
Standard 5: Use technology tools (e.g. multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners, etc.) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom).
