The Water Cycle - Info Graphic



Water - It covers 70% of the Earth's surface. It provides life, regulates temperature, drains harmful substances, manipulates weather, changes the geography of Earth's surface, and is home to thousands of organisms. Water needs to be replenished, purified, and circulated again and again so that it can perform its functions. It can do this through a natural process called the water cycle.

Students in Fourth-Grade learn about the water cycle, and its three major steps. This info graphic illustrates the three major steps of the water cycle, and provides a brief description of each. It helps students to visualize the process of the water cycle, and understand how it works.

Standards Addressed:
4th-Grade Science Standard 1: "Students will understand that water changes state as it moves through the water cycle."

Pinterest is an amazing tool for teachers. There are so many creative ideas on practically every subject, just waiting to be discovered. This Pinterest board is a collection of DIY ideas for teachers. These creative ideas can be used in a variety of elementary-age classrooms.

Way Up in the Sky - Clouds


What are clouds? How are they formed? Why are there so many different kinds? In fourth-grade students learn how to identify different kinds of clouds. This presentation will help students to distinguish between the major types of clouds. Students will know what they look like, where they are found in the sky, and what kind of weather they are associated with.

The Counties of Utah


Fourth-Graders in Utah learn about Utah's 29 Counties and County-Seats. This e-maze presentation gives students a visual aid when learning about Utah's Counties. Each slide includes a picture of where the county is located, how the county got its name, the county-seat, and the area of the county.

What are we made of?


In Kindergarten Science we learn about the properties of living things. This "Mind Map" organizes topics of discussion such as the five senses, parts of plants, and animals into distinct categories that are easy to see and understand. Students can easily see the difference between these topics and learn a little about the parts that make up living things.

Fractions Video


Fractions are all around us! This two-minute video helps Second-Graders understand a little more about how fractions are made. In this video, students are taught about fractions using pizza slices.

2nd Grade Math Geometry 3 Standard which states that students should be able to "partition circles into two, three or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, etc. Describe the whole as 2 halves, 3 thirds, and 4 fourths."

Elements of Art NearPod



Art is an important school subject that should be integrated into the classroom setting. Cinderella Comparison

Nearly every culture has its own version of the Cinderella story. The oldest ones date back to China and India. The version most commonly thought of today was written by French writer Charles Perrault in 1697. Most children have probably read or heard of the classic Cinderella story before.
