Energy Prezi


This presentation will help teach 6th Grade students about different kinds of energy. This presentation explores terms relating to heat, light, and sound such as radiation, convection, conduction, reflection, refraction, scattering, and sound waves.

Standards Addressed:
It fulfills Common Core Standard 6 which states that "Students will understand properties and behavior of heat, light, and sound."

Ed. Tech. Standards:

Storybird



Every season brings changes in weather, and opportunities for entertainment. By reading this story to students, they can begin to see some of the changes in weather over the course of the year, and how it affects individuals.

This story fulfills the Common Core requirements for Kindergarten Science: Standard 2 Objective 3 which states that students should be able to "Compare changes in weather over time".

Thing Link Solar System


This interactive image will teach students about our solar system. Thing Link helps students interact and put into perspective where objects in the solar system are located, and how their location effects their features and how they interact with other objects in our solar system.
