Sub-4-Santa Flyer



This flyer fulfills Educational Technology Standard 5 for Common Core which states that  students should be able to "use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom." By sending this flyer home with students, they are communicating to their parents about an activity hosted by their school.

Amelia Bedelia Glogster



  Amelia Bedelia is a comical maid who is always getting instructions mixed up! This quiz will help asses first-graders' ability to answer questions about key details in a story which fulfills the Common Core requirements for First Grade Reading: Literature Standard 1.

Cinderella Comparison

Nearly every culture has its own version of the Cinderella story. The oldest ones date back to China and India. The version most commonly thought of today was written by French writer Charles Perrault in 1697. Most children have probably read or heard of the classic Cinderella story before.

Standards Addressed
This worksheet allows students to compare and contrast Cinderella stories from different cultures which fulfills the Common Core requirements for 5th grade literature, standard 3.
